How To Use Blogging To Brand
Your MLM Business
Unless you have been under a rock lately,
chances are that you have heard about the blogging
revolution that is taking the internet by storm. More and
more people are getting into blogging, and it seems to
have the power to benefit a great host of
people.
Some people are using blogging for their own
personal reasons; it can be used as an online diary and
way to keep in contact with people who you may not be
able to get in touch with on a regular basis.
This is likely the type of blog that you have
head of; believe it or not, blogging can also be used as
a great tool for when it comes to branding your business
and gaining a reputation for being an expert in your
field.
Sounds like something you can’t do? Nobody ever
said that new things were easy, and blogging is new to a
lot of internet marketers. It doesn’t have to be
complicated, though. Follow these easy steps to get
started.
Set Up a Blog
It isn’t hard to do the actual blog setup. You
can get a blog through Word Press, Blogger, BlogSpot, and
a whole host of other places around the internet. While
it may help to have your very own domain name for your
blog, that isn’t always possible—not at first. Once you
have the blog set up and your blog name going, the
hardest part is already overcome—doing what you know that
you need to do and not putting it off for
later.
Come Up With a Theme
The theme is another part of blogging that
network marketers seem to find difficult. The point of
your blog is to establish yourself as an expert in your
field and get your readers to trust you. This all has to
be done without selling on your blog, because if people
feel that you are trying to sell them they will stop
coming. Perhaps you want to offer advice, answer
questions, or give a daily diary-type account of the
frustrations and problems that you encounter with your
business. Your theme and central idea is up to you;
sticking to it is up to you.
Getting Them from the Blog to the
Sale
Remember that selling on your blog isn’t the
type of thing that you want to do. This scares away the
readers that may have the most potential for your
business, whether as members of your down line or as
valued customers. If they trust you, they may sign up for
your eBook or auto responder series, and from there you
can work on selling them. Just remember that while the
point of the blog is to lead to the sale, the blog is
never the place to pitch. Pitching your readers is just
bad blogging, and it rarely works.
Blogging is a great way to brand your business
and establish a rapport with customers who you may not
have otherwise been able to reach. It is important to get
it done and do it the right way. It may take a while to
get your readership up, but before long you will see a
change in your business relationships and perhaps the way
that you feel about your business as well.
